Engagement Session, Ticornia Beach, St. Joseph, MI

Trixie and Phillip contacted me via Thumbtack. The couple, natives of San Jose, California, have to endure a long distance relationship, while Trixie completes a residency at a local Michigan hospital. The local Amtrak station is where they are reunited every month or so and is the sentimental reason the couple decided to start their photo session at this location.

Lake Michigan was misty and initially it looked like we wouldn’t get too many shots by the lake, however, the mist created an atmospheric, romantically moody backdrop. Phillip has a wonderful eye for location and suggested we do a few shots on the piers. It was an excellent suggestion, where we got some of my favorite shots.

We had such a wonderful time and even shared some ice cream time.

This amazingly fun and beautiful couple will be getting married next year in California. I wish them many years of happiness.
