Kristin and Brian Get Engaged

Brian contacted me and couldn’t contain his excitement about his plans to propose to his girlfriend, Kristin. He planned his proposal to take place at Notre Dame Grotto in the evening and afterwards, the couple’s families would be waiting to surprise Kristin up by the dome. I waited on the sidelines, not wanting to give away the surprise, photographing candidly. Kristin joyously accepted his proposal, with applause from the ongoing crowd. After an introduction, we moved on to do a few engagement shots on the campus, secretly leading Kristin to the waiting and hidden crowd of friends and family, who greeted the unsuspecting new fiancé with hugs and kisses.
